Discovering the WHY in your life makes your path clearer. Make it strong. Make it bold and your actions will fall in line.
Once while living in east Texas I was following instructions on how to get to a friends house for a birthday party. I was out in the middle of nowhere. Looking for all types of trees, fences etc. to guide me to this house that felt like I was in the wilderness. Then I drove up on a Y in the road. Only one problem. There was no Y described in the directions. What was I to do? Turn around on go back? Find help, even though I felt like I was in the movie Deliverance. Suddenly I came upon a Y inside. In reality, it was a WHY. Why did I want to go here? Was my WHY big enough and strong enough to give me courage me to move forward? Yes, it was. I picked a side and drove on determined to find my friends house. Exactly 1 mile down the road I had chosen I drove up to the house and the party. My WHY had made the difference.
We all do lots of things in life. But why do we do them? Why do we work where we do? Why am I in a relationship with this person? Why do I have the priorities I do? Why do I worship God and do it the way I do? We all have WHYS but unfortunately, we often pay them no attention. WHYS are the fuel to get us to what we want. WHYS give us purpose, direction and sometimes courage to do what we think we can't.
What are your WHYS about the things in your life? One of the things I do with clients is to help them create strong WHY's in their life. This strong WHY will pull you forward and the how becomes easier. Having trouble figuring them out? As a master life coach, I can help you find your WHYS. Let me help you.
